How to reach us

Getting to Gittana , has never been so easy, thanks to a wide choice of dayly flights that link the most important European cities to the main Lombard  airports like Milano Linate, Milano Malpensa, Bergamo Orio al Serio.

The nearest intercontinental airports of  Milano "Malpensa" and "Linate", are at 90 Km and 110 Km from Gittana, Bergamo Orio al Serio at 115 Km. Getting to Linate airport is the fastest and easiest way to reach Gittana. We suggest you hire a car and drive toward the Lake through  highway SS 36 dello Spluga. Keep on driving on the SS 36 up to the Exit “ Mandello/Varenna” which is the first exit after the town of Lecco. Or exit on the next one toward Sondrio , exit“Bellano”.

Once in Varenna, follow the road to Perledo. Keep on this winding road untill you see the sign to Gittana. Attention Please! You will need to cut across the curve to enter the road to Gittana... so... STOP and check for cars coming from above! 

By train... The ferrovie dello stato still makes a very useful stop in Varenna/Esino. In front of the station it’s possible to get a taxi that will take you to Gittana ( 5 min.). Taxi call and reservations n. 338-4441084, 338-8554687, 340-2568692.

By Ferry... If you are coming from the western shore of the Lake or from Bellagio, you can use ferries (for cars and passengers) or passenger boats (passengers only) of Navigazione Laghi: boats are running non-stop from Bellagio, Menaggio, Cadenabbia to Varenna.
